About Me
Hello my name is Darryl. I don't really like filling these things out because I always feel too goofy doing it. I'll give it a shot though. I'm a very easy going/laid back person. I like to laugh and have a good time. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs. That doesn't mean you can't drink or smoke..just no drugs please. I get asked the 3 main questions by women all the time and I hate answering them because as soon as I answer I just feel liike most of you are wary of me which is honestly really discouraging. The 3 questions are 1. Where do you live? 2. Where do you work? and 3. What do you drive? My answer to these questions are 1. I live with my parents. 2. I don't currently work and 3. I don't drive. The reason for all of that is in April of 2007 I lost both my kidneys out of nowhere and almost died from it. I got put on dialysis for a year and finally got a kidney(1 kidney only) and a pancreas transplant(I've been diabetic all my life so this took care of that). The transplants took well and I've been doing pretty good ever since. The pancreas decided to quit on me after 2 years of having it though and I'm now diabetic again..which sucks but I'm used to it by now. I don't drive because of the diabetes..it has messed up my right eye pretty bad. I've had over 26 laser surgeries on both my eyes to try and correct the diabetic retinopothy and my lefft eye is ok but the right eye I can barely see out of. I don't work because if I did I would lose my Medicaid/Medicare and I would'n't be able to pay for my anti rejection medication which costs ALOT of money for just a few pills of each medicaton. I feel useless somedays and yes it's depressing but like I said I've learned to iive with it all. I still have fun and live life to the fullest whenever I can. If you're still reading this and haven't laughed and said what a loser yet..then here are some of my hobbies/stuff I like.
Books: I used to read all the time but now it's hard to see small print and I have a book magnifier thing but it doesn't work that great,. I love the Harry Potter books though and the Lord of the Rings series. I also like The Redwall series by Brian Jacques.
Movies: There are way too many to really go through but here are a few. I also really like sand up comedians...they make me feel better when I'm feeling down. Oh I totally forgot the Ace Ventura movies..love Jim Carrey..and The Cable Guy and Dumb adn Dumber...there now I"m finished with movies for now..lol. Food I love Italian and Mexican food. I love a good cheeseburger and fries as well..and Chinese eventhough I"m usually hungry within an hour or 2..lol.
Well that's some of the stuff I like. There's alot more to me than just the stuff I like though..so if there is anything you want to know that isn't on here or jus want to know something specific then feel free to ask me..I'm an open book.
What I'm Looking For
I want to meet someone who is loving, caring, passinate, fun loving, has some similar interests as me, and likes me for me. I want to find someone who has some passion in them. Meaning if they like me..don't be afraid to show me.. I don't really expect much..I just want someone who likes to laugh, have fun and to cuddle and watch movies with me..and all that good stuff in between.
